About Me
I’m a sound designer, gamer and a guitar player. Currently, I’m enrolled in the Game Audio program at AP Academy where my focus is on learning about audio implementation and integration.
Growing up playing guitar and games, I’ve always enjoyed the collaborative process, whether it was playing a co-op game with a friend or performing in a band. Countless hours of playing music eventually led me to recording, and I quickly became captivated by how recorded sound can unveil subtle nuances and details that often go unnoticed in everyday life.
Moving to LA to study Audio Engineering at the Musicians Institute provided me with a solid understanding of sound in both theory and practice, along with knowledge of software like Reaper, Pro Tools, and iZotope RX. There, I studied recording, mixing, mastering, as well as audio for post-production. Since then, I’ve worked with audio in various capacities, including short films, audio dramas, and animation.
What fascinates me most about sound is its creative potential as a storytelling tool. The way sound can convey emotion, build atmosphere, and connect with people on a deep level continually inspires me. Sound has the power to tell stories beyond what’s on the screen, directly informing us in ways that visuals alone can’t. One of my strongest gaming memories is playing Diablo 2 as a kid and learning to identify item drops purely based on the sound design. At the time, I didn’t fully understand it, but today I recognize it as an incredible and effective use of sound.
Recording sounds is a big part of my day-to-day life and I am continuously expanding my personal library. In this picture you can see me capturing a gurgling sound that was made by the pools overflow gutters.
I’m always looking for new ways to grow as both a sound designer and a collaborative artist, and I am eager to participate, engage, and contribute to impactful projects.
